Reverse the slats and close and wipe them in the opposite direction on the reverse side. This kind of light cleaning can be done monthly. For a deeper cleaning remove the blinds from the window. Lay them on a drop cloth of your choice. Spray the blinds with an all-purpose cleaner. Allow it to penetrate for a few minutes. Scrub the blinds gently with a soft-bristled brush in a parallel to the slats. Turn the slats over and repeat the process. Hand or hold the blinds to rinse with a hose. Shake off as much of the water as possible and hang the blinds preferably outside to dry.
